What we collect
The feelings you name, intensity, body areas, notes, whether you’re in therapy, your session schedule and the name you enter. These stay only on your device and aren’t sent to us. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write.
Why we use it
To show your patterns, send reminders and prepare your session summary; all of this happens on your device. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. We process feeling entries and notes with your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a), KVKK Art. 6). We get data directly from you, through the app. Nothing is mandatory.
Sensitive data
Your feeling entries, notes and whether you’re in therapy can reveal health information. We process them only with your explicit consent. You can withdraw it at any time: delete your data in Settings, or write to support@duygucarkim.com. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect processing that happened before.
Where it lives
Only on your device. The app has no account and no server; your entries aren’t sent to us or to anyone else. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, app data may be included in that backup; that backup is between you and Apple and under your control. If you share a session summary, you decide who receives it.
How long we keep it
Data on your device: until you delete it or remove the app. Emails you send us: up to 2 years.
Security
Your entries stay on your device, protected by your device lock and, if you turn it on, the app lock (Face ID). Keeping your device secure is in your hands. If we learn of a breach affecting emails you sent us, we notify the competent authority within 72 hours and tell you as soon as we can.
Your rights
Under GDPR and KVKK Art. 11 you can ask whether and why we process your data and who receives it, and get access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy. You can also object, withdraw consent and claim compensation for damage. We don’t hold your entries, so we can’t access them; download and delete live in Settings → Your data. Send requests to support@duygucarkim.com; we may ask for more information to confirm it’s you. We reply within 30 days, free of charge. We don’t make automated decisions about you or profile you. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live in the EU, or to Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr). If the law where you live gives you further rights, we honour those too. Feelings Wheel is not for anyone under 16; if we learn we hold data of someone under 16, we delete it.
